Redesigning the Organisation for AI: a gated procedure for the future mode of operations
A gated interview for leaders running AI-driven business transformation. Eleven stages take an organisation from how it operates today to a future mode of operations designed around what AI can now carry, so the work converts into market position and a workforce that keeps the expertise it needs. The gates do the work. A scope statement that would fit any competitor in your sector fails. A redesign that releases capacity without saying where it lands fails. Every role removed carries the cost and the time of putting it back. It closes with an assurance pass, because a strategy document fails the way an AI output does: it looks clean, it reads well, and it is wrong underneath. Two documents come out, a strategy playbook and a future mode of operations, each change traceable to the play and the future it answers. Method developed by the author during the Oxford AI-Driven Business Transformation Executive Programme.
